Before presenting Adele and Greg Kurstin with the Grammy award for song of the year on Sunday night, Celine Dion took a moment to remember her late husband René Angélil.
Céline Dion lost her husband just over one year ago, but she says René Angélil is still with her in spirit. The singer recalled the time when she won the same award for her iconic song "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic in 1999.
Last May, Dion opened up about Angélil's final moments in an interview with Paris Match magazine (translated via Us Weekly), revealing that she was performing on the night of January 13, 2016 and "didn't want to wake him" when she returned home. "That evening I didn't want to wake him".
Lady Gaga and Celine Dion had an incredible encounter on the GRAMMYs red carpet on Sunday when they crossed paths in front of the ET cameras.
"Congratulations on the Super Bowl, you're wonderful", Dion gushed to mother monster.
When O'Dell said she wished Dion was singing at this year's Grammys, Dion admitted that although she would love to perform, she was just happy to be back. See Lea Michele gush over meeting the diva in the video below!
