Samsung's new launcher on the Galaxy S8 is new and pretty, but it's still not for everyone. However, it looks like just ahead of the launch, some extra information pertaining to the much awaited Samsung flagships are out, and have been reported by Gadgets360. The pre-order of both the smartphones have begun from today while it will be available from May 5.
Kuo also notes of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 that Samsung is expected to unveil later this year and how the device will compare to the iPhone 8... The Samsung Galaxy S8+, as the name suggests, is bigger and comes with a larger 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display with same QHD resolution but 531ppi. Thus, many Android device users have reported various issues with their smartphones or tablets post-update.
They also point out that the use of the curved screen on the front means that replacing the front glass without destroying the display is "extremely difficult".
Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus will be powered by Samsung's very own Exynos 8895 (2.35GHz Quad+1.9GHz Quad) processor. Both the variants come paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The device is also set to feature a rear fingerprint scanner like the S8.
The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will come with a new 10nm chipset, which the company claims is smaller yet more efficient. And along with that, we also got the new Gear 360 camera. Bixby, which is essentially Samsung's version of Google Assistant which in itself is a pretty solid personal assistant.
Gadgets 360 has exclusively learned that Samsung Galaxy S8 price in India will be Rs. 62,600; this is the MRP (Maximum Retail Price), while the market operating price (MOP) is Rs. 57,900. The Samsung Galaxy S8 have a type C charger with faster charging speed and even an option for wireless charging.
