Trump removes Bannon from National Security Council

Removal of Bannon hints at internal strife, tension

Report: President Trump may fire Preibus and Bannon

The two met Friday afternoon after Chinese President Xi Jinping left Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida, in a almost one-hour meeting arranged by White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.

Although the White House is rife with rumors of a staff shake-up, Trump's young administration is pushing back against reports of a pending West Wing overhaul fueled by squabbling among top aides.

TRUNEWS host Rick Wiles said Friday that last nights actions in Syria, the demotion of Bannon from his NSC position, the resignation of House Intel Committee Chairman Devin Nunes from the Russian Federation election probe, and the rumor that Preibus and Bannon may lose their White House positions, shows that the Neocon Deep State aligned with Kushner and Ivanka's globalist Oval Office faction have "taken over" the Trump administration.

"We've had a tremendous success", he told reporters on Air Force One as he flew to Florida for his first meeting with Xi.

A source within the White House said that the reason Bannon is falling out of favor with Trump is quite simple: "Bannon isn't making "Dad" look good".

Meanwhile, Mr Kushner's star has been on the rise. He actually said "cuck, ' as in 'cuckservative, '" the source said.

Kushner, who played a major role in the presidential campaign, is heading an effort to overhaul the federal government and has traveled to Iraq with the Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman.

Since then, Trump has faced a number of setbacks to his young administration, including having an executive order on immigration blocked a second time by the courts, and failing to pass legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Even as Trump apparently sought to cool the infighting, he is said to have floated potential replacements for Priebus, who has reportedly been on thin ice since January, due to the administration's early missteps. Administration officials said this was done at the urging of national security adviser H.R. McMaster, with whom Bannon had clashed.

And when the White House released a photo of Trump being briefed after the strikes, Twitter was quick to notice that Bannon didn't have a seat at the table.

White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus ordered the meeting at the request of the president, according to reports.

Bill Daley, a former White House chief of staff to president Barack Obama, who got pushed out in a shakeup after about a year into the job, said it appears that inside the Trump White House there is a struggle for "the soul and brain of the president".

He has also played a key role in Mr Trump's foreign policy, including the USA relationship with China. Bannon, White House chief strategist, is a flame-throwing populist who formerly ran Breitbart News.
