If we would have been in Toronto, I don't know if we would have made it past our first episode, ' she admitted.
When asked about the possibility of a reboot, Lively told Variety she's on the fence about resuming her role as Serena van der Woodsen.
"Gossip Girl" fans have been missing the show ever since The CW's sexy, scandalous drama ended its run back in 2012, and the same holds true for some members of the show's cast.
"It sort of all depends", she told Variety.
Lively said that she is not ready to be a part of "The Shallows" sequel. "No, because it's hard work and I've got my babies, and I don't want to be away from them that much", she said.
When a female reporter asked Lively, who is the face of several beauty and fashion brands including L'Oréal Paris, what her "power outfit" was, Lively responded: "Come on, you want me to talk about an outfit today?" Blair Waldorf, um, we mean, Leighton Meester, has since Wednesday O.C. heartthrob Adam Brody and given birth to a baby girl.
"I don't look at movies by the budget".
Lively, who played the CW's most iconic It Girl for six seasons between 2007 and 2012, told Variety ahed of its Power of Women event that she's certainly on board for a GG revival, but that the project's timing, script and story would have to be flawless. Who knows - if it was good, if it made sense. "When you look at the "Star Wars" franchise now versus the "Star Wars" franchise then, there are women at the centre", she added. "Are we really doing this?"
She's right - we would all enjoy that.
The "Gossip Girl" alum also chatted about family life with her leading man, Ryan Reynolds, 40, and their daughters James, 2, and Ines, 6 months.
