Investigators identify Jeffrey Miller as the man who died after being caught in a meth lab explosion in Old Town

We now know the name of the man found dead following a meth lab bust in Old Town.

Jeffrey Miller, 50, recently had been released from jail after serving a sentence for making methamphetamine on Hammond Street in Bangor, Stephen McCausland, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman, said Monday.

Police have identified the man as Jeffrey Miller, 50, and are still awaiting toxicology reports to determine the cause of his death.

Miller's body was found about 48 hours after the fire in an Old Town apartment kitchen.

Four people have been arrested in connection with the Old Town meth lab found last week, according to police. Don Dube, 47, and Susan Smith, 36, who are dating were crashing there, it was revealed in court on Friday. They say he also operated a meth lab in Deer Isle.
