Adele's personal fortune increased by £40 million ($75 million NZ) a year ago.
Robert Watts, the compiler of The Sunday Times Rich List 2017, said: "This year's larger-than-ever rich list lays bare how the fortunes of Britain's 1,000 wealthiest individuals and families have fared amid the astonishing events of the past 12 months".
The full list charts the wealth of the 1,000 richest individuals and families in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
That's £40 million more than second placed Lord Lloyd Webber, who is nearly £200 million richer than U2 in third on the new countdown, which will be published on Sunday (07 May 17).
Sir Elton John is listed at number four, with £290 million, and rock icon Sir Mick Jagger fifth, with a fortune of £250 million.
The combined wealth of the ten richest people in Wales has risen by £1.217bn since last year's edition of the Rich List and they are now collectively worth over £10.172bn.
Olivia and Dhani Harrison are in seventh with £210m - down £10m - while Michael Flatley and Ringo Starr share eighth with £200m.
Other notable inclusions in this year's music millionaires list include Robbie Williams, worth €176 million and 16th on the list, and Sir Tom Jones who is worth €188 million and 14th on the list.
The singer followed her phenomenally successful 2015 album 25 with an ongoing 122 date world tour, taking in around €162 million.
This puts her at No19 on the Music Rich List but, more importantly, allows her to enter the overall Rich List for the first time. Such strong record sales and a busy touring schedule propel her into our main list for the first time.
SIR James Dyson remains the richest man in the South West, according to the new edition of The Sunday Times Rich List, with his wealth increasing by £2.8 billion compared to a year ago.
The Music Millionaires list is released ahead of the 29th annual Sunday Times Rich List, which will be published this weekend.
It excludes bank accounts, to which the newspaper has no access. It charts the wealth of the 1,000 richest people in the UK.
