Lukaku has recently made it clear that he will not sign a new contract at Everton and is thus widely expected to leave this summer in search of Champions League football.
Lukaku's surely used to transfer rumors by now, so it must've been something fairly specific to Lipton's report that caused the former Chelsea prospect to react in such a way.
The latest outburst follows a story today that the Belgium global would prefer to join Manchester United than former club Chelsea because he is concerned he will not fit into the system of play favoured by Blues boss Antonio Conte.
Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is reportedly "torn" between signing for Manchester United or rejoining Chelsea this summer because of concerns over the work rate demanded by Blues manager Antonio Conte.
"Don't get me wrong here, Lukaku has obviously had a fantastic season and he is a goalscorer", he told TalkSPORT.
With Lukaku in, Manchester United could potentially be equipped next season with two of the most exciting young strikers in the Premier League, with the Belgian joining highly-rated youngster, Marcus Rashford.
"Yes he would bring power, he would bring strength, but when you look over the years at the strikers United have had, does he fit in the same line of strikers? I don't think so".
"Some media these days are annoying, man", he wrote on Twitter.
Lukaku has netted 24 Premier League goals this season and has been the scourge of many defences in the top flight with his direct running and physical ability in the air and on the ground.
