But while Microsoft has Project Scorpio lined up and Nintendo is still riding the Switch wave, Sony doesn't have a comparable announcement for the big show.

Each PlayStation platform - the PS Vita, PS4, and PS3 - get two titles each, with PS4 getting an additional third and fourth one which is otherwise also available for PS Vita, courtesy of cross play.

The widely acclaimed Life is odd and Killing Floor 2 head up the PlayStation Plus free games lineup for the month of June.

Life is odd, the five-part adventure game from Dontnod Entertainment, sees players grapple with the pressures that come with being a teenager and the responsibility of being a time traveler.

On PS3, members can grab Abyss Odyssey, a side-scrolling action adventure game featuring a fighting engine in procedurally generated levels that destines its three warriors to battle for an eternity.

Last but not least, PS Vita members can download Neon Chrome, a top-down cyberpunk shooter with rogue-like elements.

June is around the corner and so is the new lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus members. You will also need to keep paying for or restart your subscription in order to keep them, even if you downloaded them for free while you had a PS Plus subscription.
