Linfield v Celtic will not take place on 12 July

Brendan Rodgers Refusing to panic

Xavi has transfer advice for Celtic

Al Sadd midfielder Xavi, who won La Liga eight times and the Champions League on four occasions with Barcelona, has advice for Celtic regarding signing players in the summer transfer window.

This morning's draw in Switzerland paired the clubs together to meet in the second qualifying round on either the 11 or 12 July.

July 12, also known as the The Twelfth, is an Ulster protestant celebration in Northern Ireland and is signified by marches to celebrate the victory of protestant king William of Orange over catholic king James II at the Battle of the Boyne in 1690.

"Before that, we play La Fiorita at home next Wednesday and away the following week and that is the priority now".

McGivern added: "I'm sure a live TV deal will be discussed, too. We have to approach every game the same".

Linfield are favourites to beat S.P La Fiorita, who were founded in 1967, the year of Celtic's greatest success when they beat Inter Milan in Lisbon to become the first British club to win the European Cup.

"I've never really thought about stuff off the park".

"If you are playing Celtic these days you're up against it". I keep stressing, we have two very important games before a potential tie with Celtic but it is the best draw would could have hoped for.

"Without sounding negative, Celtic are a level far above what we play at".

The Belfast club, managed by former Rangers frontman David Healy, will face the Glasgow giants in the second round of qualifying next month - if they can see off San Marino outfit La Fiorita.
