Once that fog clears, today looks great! Temperatures will top out in the lower 80s under ample sunshine. It will be rather similar to yesterday but with more sunshine thanks to a high pressure system sitting right over our region.
Handsome moonlit sky tonight with comfortable sleeping weather, mostly clear with low temperature in the 50s and 60s. Skies will be clear with winds out of the south at 5-15 miles per hour. Odds of storms will fall from 40 to 30 percent Tuesday through Wednesday before Thursday brings a day with no rain in the forecast.
Highs will range from mid 90s in western OK to the upper 80s in eastern OK. Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s to near 90° both days under a mix of sun and clouds.
Rain chances are dwindling and the summer heat is building as we wrap up our weekend. Hotter still on Monday with highs in the 90's and 100's as that high slides towards our area with the warmest temperatures. About 20% of folks will see pop-up showers and storms, with the best chances being south of I-20.
For Thursday, expect mostly sunny skies by afternoon with hotter temps.
A few hit-or-miss thunderstorms will be possible during the peak heating of the mid to late afternoon hours into early this evening, particularly south of Tulsa.
