Behind-the-Scenes Look at STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI ft. Carrie Fisher

We're just a few days away from the biggest day on the geek news calendar in San Diego Comic-Con, but Disney is not willing to wait that long to get fans all frothing at the mouth.

Lenovo and LucasFilm have used the a Disney fan event in Anaheim, California to announce a partnership and to unveil a new augmented reality headset that's based on everyone's favourite sci-fi saga, Star Wars. In striking new character posters for The Last Jedi, both Rey and Luke are gripping the same iconic lightsaber, previously owned by Luke's father, Anakin.

We've seen some glimpses of the movie in a teaser trailer, but we get a pretty concentrated dose in this behind-the-scenes vid that shows off some cool fight scenes (Rey with a light saber!) and a bunch of weird new creatures (WTF is that glassy-looking fox?).

Hamill, best known as Luke Skywalker in the "Star Wars" franchise, said he still thinks of Carrie Fisher like she is alive. One thing that is definitely no longer a secret is but also our first real proper look at newcomer Kelly Marie Tran's Rose, a smaller character who apparently plays a pivotal role. Oh, and of course a touching moment from our beloved princess.

The title Star Wars: The Last Jedi carries a lot of intrigue, and director Rian Johnson has only fueled the fires of speculation with his comments about what it could mean. Today is not that day. Oh those Mon Calamari!

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" will hit screens on December 15. I love how the skin tones all stand out, and everyone's in the outfits we're more or less familiar with if you look closely.
