Asante McGee, a former member of Kelly's inner circle, claimed there are now six women living in properties rented by Kelly, who controls "every aspect of their lives: dictating what they eat, how they dress, when they bathe, when they sleep, and how they engage in sexual encounters that he records".

"R. Kelly is the sweetest person you will ever want to meet", said Asante McGee, a former member of his inner circle.

Serious allegations have come out against R&B superstar R. Kelly. "You have to ask to go use the bathroom", Mack, who worked as Kelly's personal assistant, told BuzzFeed.

Mack reportedly said: "You have to ask for food. He is a puppet master".

Kelly has been sued at least a dozen times by girls or their parents alleging sexual misconduct, but those cases have ended in settlements that include nondisclosure agreements that keep their claims off the public record.

Among the rules that are alleged in the Buzzfeed article are that women must give up their personal cell phones, ask permission to eat, ask permission to leave, and must abide by a strict dress code.

"It was as if she was brainwashed. [She] looked like a prisoner - it was frightful", said one mother, identified as J., about her daughter, whom she last saw on December 1, 2016. I hugged her and hugged her, but she just kept saying she's in love and [Kelly] is the one who cares for her.

Kitti Jones, who told Buzzfeed about her time living as one of Kelly's girls, said it was hard to leave his controlling atmosphere. I don't know what to do. I hope that if I get her back, I can get her treatment for victims of cults. In order to reconnect with her daughter and learn more about the parameters of her relationship with Kelly, the mother has closed down her business and conducted her own investigation, sharing the information with FBI in both IL and Georgia.

The "Bump N' Grind" performer has faced numerous allegations of engaging in sex with underage girls, but the women said to be involved in this so-called "cult" are all above the legal age in the respective states.

GQ quoted Kelly in an interview where he said that he had provided financial settlements to others who had accused him of engaging in underage sex.

BuzzFeed's story focuses on the aforementioned young woman, who is from Florida and now 18 years old, and a 19-year-old from Georgia.

Those parents say their daughter met R. Kelly backstage at a show and began talking to him secretly on her cellphone, she lost weight, dyed and cut her hair because that's reportedly what Kelly liked, and she stopped going to classes at college entirely.

The allegations are the latest against Kelly - full name Robert Kelly - who was widely reported to have married a then-15-year-old Aaliyah in 1994 in a secret wedding.

According to the two families, their daughters, each aspiring singers, were introduced to Kelly in 2015 under the impression that he would professionally mentor them. She had been best friends since high school with the girl in the videotape for which Kelly was tried in 2008.

Requests for comment were not immediately returned by several of Kelly's representatives or his attorney, Linda Mensch.
