The #Samsung Q9 TV features an Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolution, High Dynamic Range settings, Bluetooth (including headset support), and a built-in Wi-Fi.
Samsung Electronics Co. released its new 88-inch quantum-dot-based light emitting diode (QLED) TV, the Q9 in Korea and North America in a bid to take the lead in the burgeoning premium large-screen TV market. "We are aiming to expand our footprint in the ultra-premium TV market with our ultra-large QLED TV models that embody the flawless combination of technology and art", said Chu Jong-suk, senior vice president of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. "With their superior picture quality and innovative features, we are confident that our QLED TV lineup will continue to drive sales and solidify Samsung's leadership in the global TV market". A No Gap Wall-mount completes the QLED TVs flawless design by allowing the screen to be mounted flush against the wall.
Building off the concept of a "blended" devices that better encapsulates viewers' lifestyles, the firm also revealed a gapless wall-mount system that allows the TV to be hung and adjusted even after it's been put in place.
Samsung's 88-inch Class Q9F QLED 4K TV is now available in the U.S. for an MSRP of $20,000. In addition, the 65-inch QN65Q9 is now on sale for $3,998 and the 75-inch QN75Q9 is now on sale for $8,998.
