OK Kanmani was dubbed in Telugu as OK Bangaru and remade in Hindi as OK Jaanu staring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. She will also be a part of Dulquer's film, co-starring Irrfan Khan. Dulquer Salmaan wanted to take his own sweet time in planning his Bollywood debut and it seems he has finally made up his mind about his dream debut in Bollywood.
Reports from the tinsel town say that Malayalam's favourite young star Dulquer Salmaan is all set to make his Bollywood debut through an Irrfan Khan starrer, directed by debutant moviemaker Akarsh Khurana.
According to the latest update, is a light-hearted comedy in which Dulquer Salmaan plays a guy who lives in Bengaluru. The said film also marks the directorial debut of Akarsh Khurana with it being scripted by Hussain Dalal. Earlier, Abhishek Bachchan was offered the role which will now be essayed by Dulquer Salmaan, but he opted out of the project as he could not provide dates. The film rolls by the month end in Kerala as the sources say. However, he didn't get much success in his Bollywood innings.
Dulquer, whose last release was Amal Neerad's "Comrade In America, ' is now gearing up for the release of Bejoy Nambiar's Tamil-Malayalam bilingual, 'Solo".
The film is expected to release later this year in Malayalam and Tamil.
