On the camera front, the Moto X4 is touted to equip a 16MP front-facing selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture that is apparently tailor-made for ultra low-light selfies and 4K video-recording at 30fps or full HD video capture at 60fps. There's a dual-LED flash on the back too, and you'll be able to add depth of field effects to your photos of course. It's unknown whether all of these features will come to the Moto X4 but it's likely several of these will. The Moto X4 will also be IP68 dust and water resistant, offering additional protection for those with butter fingers.
Moto X4 smartphone is expected to be announced at an event in Brazil on August 24.
As Android Authority reports, the leaked renders confirm several of the Motorola handset's specs including the 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC and the availability of two different memory/storage configurations. The latest leak is in line with final rendered images put out by tipster Evan Blass last week.
The subtle 'X' shape formed by the light at the center of the Moto X4's dual cameras is a nice touch, as are the notches to give it more of a DSLR-like vibe. The rear camera is a dual one which is 12 MP as well as 8 MP.
Other extra features include a fingerprint scanner on the front and Motorola specifics such as the Moto Actions, Moto Display and Moto Voice. It will come with Turbo Charging support so that users can juice up the device within an hour.
These fresh glamour shots, though obviously virtually simulated to hide as many of the actual handset's flaws as possible, do a great job showing off the shiny glass back in both "Super Black" and "Sterling Blue". In terms of pricing, the 32GB variant of Moto X4 could cost 350 euro (Rs 26,000 approx) in European market, according to tipster Roland Quandt.
