Pink tweeted that she and her band celebrated the news, saying they felt "blessed beyond belief" for the honor from the Video Music Awards.

Directed by Georgia Hudson and choreographed by The Goldenboyz, the video begins with audio of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie at the Republican National Convention giving a speech before then-candidate Donald Trump took the stage.

As helicopter lights blast down onto deserted streets, people from all different walks of life are seen looking isolated, dejected and emotional. "We are going to reject racism!". She will also perform live at the ceremony.

Pink will receive the Video Vanguard award at the 2017 Video Music Awards on Logo and MTV Her seventh studio album, Beautiful Trauma, is due out October 13.
