Calgary police seek man wanted for violent sex assault

The Calgary Police Service is turning to the public for information regarding the current whereabouts of a 32-year-old man who faces charges in connection with a violent sex assault in a downtown parkade.

In a statement on Wednesday, police said the suspect "violated a court-imposed 24-hour house arrest on several occasions", and that they weren't sure of his whereabouts.

Andy Dick Ntunaguza, 32, faces charges in connection with the December 2015 assault of a woman in a parkade in the 200 block of 6 Avenue S.W.

He is now awaiting trial and his whereabouts are now unknown.

The victim, in her 40s, suffered serious injuries.

Ntunaguza is five feet seven inches and 134 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
