Instagram Now Lets You Post Galleries With Landscape and Portrait Photos

Instagram's latest update gives you increased creative flexibility, still limits you

Instagram now lets you share landscape and portrait pics in galleries

As announced on Twitter, users will now be able to post portrait and landscape photos and videos, allowing the content to retain their original aspect ratio when they were taken.

Instagram has gone a step forward in its album option by letting users fit their photos in either landscape or portrait form instead of cropping it to the square format.

Support for multi-image posts went live on Instagram this past February. The app now lets you go back and edit tags within albums after the fact, which for some reason previously existed for normal posts but not for albums.

In order to get the new gallery feature to work, you must first choose a photo as if you'll be posting a single photo.

No doubt, this feature will provide users more flexibility. Landscape and portrait are more common in general, though, and now anyone can use them in these types of Instagram posts.

Now the users are only able to post square format photos, but with the latest update this is going to change and users can post pictures in the format of their choice. The feature is live now for anyone who grabs the updated app from their respective app store.
