Four people were rescued by the Coast Guard Monday after their boat capsized near Warren Dunes State Park. The crew of Coast Guard Cutter Tern, an 87-foot Coastal Patrol Boat out of Yerba Buena Island, was underway nearby and launched their small boat to investigate, officials said.
According to Coast Guard officials, at 2:10 p.m. a good Samaritan contacted Coast Guard Sector San Francisco to report a capsized vessel with two people sitting on the hull.
The crew located and retrieved the women, who were both wearing lifejackets.
All six people were uninjured during the incident and were taken to the Atlantic Highlands Marina.
