The recall was announced Wednesday, Sept. 13, and Target is offering a refund to any affected customers.

The recalled dressers could tip over and pose an entrapment hazard that could result in death or injuries to children.

Target has recalled 178,000 Room Essentials four-drawer chests in the USA and Canada due to a potential tip-over hazard that can occur when the units are not anchored to the wall.

One report claims the dresser tipped over on two three-year-olds, but no injuries were reported.

Target stores are recalling a line of four-drawer dressers that can harm children.

About 175,000 of the dressers were sold in the USA, and 3,000 were sold in Canada.
