Senior advocate K T S Tulsi said in a statement, "The fundamental right under Article 21 (Right to Life and Personal Liberty) is being infringed".

The murder of seven-year-old student at Gurugram's Ryan International School is getting murkier with new revelations and contradictions coming up every day.

Dr Deepak Mathur, who conducted the post mortem, also said there were two cuts on the boy's body and a nerve was slashed due to which he could not cry for help when he was attacked.

Seven-year-old Pradyuman was allegedly murdered by a bus conductor of the Ryan school at Bhondsi in Gurgaon on Friday.

A school bus conductor was arrested soon after, with police claiming he confessed that he tried to sexually assault the boy and killed him when he resisted.

Such insights further look bad on Ryan school's record given that Ryan is an worldwide group, founded in 1976 by Dr Pinto, having 304 schools in 18 states within India and 43 outside India. So are we and we are cooperating to our fullest with police investigations.

Both of them were produced before the court of Judicial Magistrate, who sent them to two days police custody. "The committee has detected five lapses in the school, such as broken windows, ill-equipped fire extinguishers common toilets, broken boundary wall and low quality CCTV without wide angle facilities", said Vinay Pratap Singh, deputy commissioner, Gurugram.

Pinto, his wife Grace Pinto, and their son Ryan Pinto - among the trustees of St Xaviers Education Trust that manages Ryan International Schools - have sought anticipatory bail, which is likely to come up for hearing in the High Court on Tuesday.

Raghav pointed out that the bus entered the school campus at 7.55am and after the students deboarded, he went outside the premises while Kumar had gone inside the main building.

Reacting to the brutal crime, actress Renuka Shahane took to Facebook to express her shock and dismay over the callous manner in which sexual predators are able to target children within institutions like schools, where one assumes children will be safe.

Following the incident, parents and locals protested outside the school and also set a nearby liquor shop ablaze.

The Gurgaon police has also suspended station house officer (SHO) of the Sadar police station - the Ryan International School situated on Sohna Road falls under the jurisdiction of this station - for "negligence in maintaining law and order".

However, the child's parents - Varun and Jyoti Thakur - have alleged that the arrest was a frame-up and have blamed the school management of not ensuring "basic safety and security" of students.

The boy was found lying in a pool blood in the school toilet on September 8 with injuries on his neck.

Reports say that a Haryana Police team has reached Mumbai and they are questioning two officials of the Ryan International School's management.
