Equifax Screw Up Can Keep You From Buying New iPhone X? Yep

Apple has launched the latest generation of iPhones, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. And similar to the tradition followed in the United States (US) since past many years, the Cupertino giant has slashed the prices of older-generation models in India as well. But this year is different. iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus are available for pre-order and they are selling out. If you're anxious about content for when it arrives on September 22nd, don't be, at least in the US: Apple has already started releasing movies with 4K and Dolby Vision HDR. Meaning users no longer have to plug in a cable to charge their phones, they just have to place the device on a power pad to get it going.

While Apple has loaded its brightest display till date in iPhone X, it's worth pointing out that Samsung Galaxy S8 has an even brighter one.

iPhone 7 Plus is likely to get the latest iOS 11 update in a few days' time. The iPhone 8 Plus on the other hand will cost Rs 77,000 for 64GB storage and Rs 86,000 for 256GB.

If you squeeze the iPhone X it will stop people from stealing it, Apple has said.

As was revealed at Tuesday's Apple event, the iPhone X will be unlocked by facial recognition, rather than the fingerprint sensors of iPhones past.

In a statement, FaceTec lauded the iPhone X for "clearing the path for immediate, widespread adoption of password-free 3D face authentication".

However, while the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus have HD retina displays like previous iPhones, the iPhone X has Super Retina display with more pixels per inch. The X, however, has a slightly faster aperture and optical image stabilization on both lenses.

No! Face ID is now reserved for the iPhone X. While Apple has dropped the home button from the iPhone X, the company hasn't abandoned Touch ID from the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The iPhone 8 Plus is priced at S$1,308 and the iPhone 8 at S$1,148.

The iPhone X has impressive dual-lens rear cameras.

The phones will be available at Xfinity Mobile, with the choice for customers from two data options.

"We do not gather customer data when you enroll in Face ID, it stays on your device, we do not send it to the cloud for training data", he said in the interview.
