Google Removes UC Browser From Google Play

UCWeb browser taken down from Google Play Store over misleading users

The best example of this is Alibaba who is the company that's in charge of UC Browser.

According to TrendMicro, malicious applications can superimpose "images over other apps and certain parts of the device's controls and settings". This is Last Pass' bread and butter. This browser has been developed with one goal in mind, and that's to offer fast download speeds and a premium user experience.

UC Browser, a browser from China that had risen and become strong enough to eat up the market share of older popular browsers like Opera and Chrome thanks to aping features that made them popular in the first place and an aggressive user acquisition strategy that also saw them enter the Kenyan market over 18 months ago, seems to be missing from the Play Store. Since removed, "Smart AppLocker" enabled "ad-clicking, app-installing and self-protecting/persistence capabilities". Then there is the fact that only 0.3% of Android users have a device running Android 8.0 meaning that Google will need to provide some alternative rather than just pulling the apps.
