Microsoft also is adding autofill cards in web forms in Edge with this test build. It is updating the look and feel of the reading experience for EPUB, PDF and Reading View documents and pages in 17074.

Microsoft plans to release the next feature update for Windows 10, Windows 10 version 1803, around March/April of 2018. Once it's satisfied that any of these wrinkles have been ironed out, Microsoft offers the update to every machine that's compatible.

Finally, you'll find that you can now load extensions when Microsoft Edge is in an InPrivate window. The Windows 10 Anniversary Update took a long time to rollout completely, so it appears Microsoft is doing things faster these days. You can grant individual extensions permission to run in InPrivate, and Microsoft is working with developers to enable extensions more while InPrivate mode. The build, 17074, includes forthcoming features such as more control when setting Quiet Hours to restrict notifications, links to the Documents and Pictures folders in the Start menu, and refinements to make the Edge browser a better choice for reading e-books and documents. Below is the list of improvements for the Edge Browser.

Microsoft overhauled labeling of the various stages in its Windows 10 servicing plan last year, changing both the initial push and the subsequent delivery to enterprises - dubbed "Current Branch" and "Current Branch for Business", respectively - to "Semi-Annual Channel".

For those with automatic updates enabled, Windows 10 will continue to provide the latest monthly security updates to help keep your information and your device protected. Now, in addition to refreshing your library or pinning books to your Start menu, you can see recommendations for new books (when your library is empty) or filter expired rentals from the current library view. Recent reports about "Meltdown" and "Spectre", a new class of critical vulnerabilities disclosed last week, underscore how rapidly the global security landscape is evolving.

Microsoft releases new versions of Windows in phases.

Another new feature is for Edge to be able to save your credit card details in order to autofill it when necessary.

The previous Insider Build introduced many new features like Timeline, Sets (To select users) and much more. Only now has the upgrade been declared okay for business. If you've already scheduled an installation date and time, the update will install automatically at your specified time. This does not apply to long-term servicing editions.

Autofill cards on web forms: With the new Autofill cards on web forms, the web browser now automatically saves and fills the card information on payment web forms.

That have-cake-and-eat-it-too attitude - Microsoft increasingly stresses that customers are in charge, even as it automatically feeds upgrades to them - has been almost as puzzling as the original process. You can also update your device or personalize your settings including your active hours, restart options and other advanced options in the Windows Update settings menu.
