Nokia plans to become one of the top three smartphone players globally in three to five years time, according to executives at HMD Global, a Finnish startup that is licensed to use the Nokia brand during the next decade.

The Nokia X6 was unveiled on Wednesday in China, and introduces a new design approach for HMD Global, as its first Nokia phone to employ a display notch.

Capture every detail thanks to the Nokia 8 Sirocco's dual rear sensors with ZEISS optics and with its Pro Camera mode, you can have full manual control over each picture. This is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Further information is available on Nokia's website here. A new variant of Nokia X6 was sighted on a Bluetooth certification site, which led to speculations that the affordable smartphone may soon be available outside China as well. In fact, it's actually a mid-range phone, powered by a Snapdragon 636 with 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage.

The mid-range Nokia X6 is expected to be available in China only. Nokia 8 owners will certainly be looking forward to this update as it will enable them to get the most out of the dual camera system on their handsets. It also offers the Bothie feature, letting users utlise both front and rear cameras simultaneously. But the interesting part of the invitation seems to be the message, which reads, "Dear Friends".

The Nokia 8 Sirocco joins the Android One family, offering a high quality software experience designed by Google. It measures 147.2x70.98x7.99mm (excluding the lens), going up to 8.59mm with the lens, and weighs 151 grams. There is also the opportunity to witness the budget Nokia Nokia 5.1 and 3.1 of 2018, which are currently unknown.

It may not be particularly impressive but there are still loads of fans of the Nokia brand around the world.

Its latest flagship phones have recently arrived in the Saudi market this month with the intention of matching to different tastes, particularly youth.
